Seriously. Why?

Whenever there are four colors of something, invariably it's the primaries plus green. What's wrong with orange? Or purple? What makes green so @$#@^&* special? Tell me! How is green special? What the &%*@ is so special about green?

I lived in Phoenix AZ for two years. I saw a lot of beauty in the deserts around Phoenix I would never have appreciated had I not lived there. But upon returning to Virginia, I realized the one thing I missed was the color green, and not just any green, but the lush green of trees and foliage. Even my eyes felt relief once I crossed the Mississippi into Tennessee.

My son who served in Iraq and Afghanistan told me the same thing when he came home. He missed the lush greens of trees and plants. Now, compare this type of green to say the grays of concrete in the big cities, or the dull browns of a barren landscape. Even sailors who spend months upon months at sea say the sight of trees on land is a welcome relief.

Lots of reason green works, but yes, it can be evil for the same reasons it works...

because green doesn't clash. purple is a cool color that is too close to red, and orange is a warm color that would make blue the minority. Green is the perfect cool color because it's not close to red or yellow (at least it doesn't look it)

....Or something like that.....

The primary colors are Red, Yellow, Blue
The primary colors of light are Red, Blue, Green

Crayons (for example) represent all four primary colors, even though it would make more sense to have a black or white crayon, since the primaries can make the others.

BTW, did I mention I used have pink vs. green wars with some friends?

Come to the Pink Side. We're better than that other color.
