No, it's "Edite" (rhymes with "paid-eat"), Dave; I see you have it as "Edith" on P&E, which is an understandable error as it's a far more common name (I think Jeff Herman had it wrong as well).

I think she represents mostly or only children's books; she doesn't seem to have a website.

I'd say she's legit. If you have her submission email address, or even just the info from the SCBWI, perhaps you could put it down on this thread?
