Looking For- a beta reader, although I am willing to beta for someone in return.
When I started this novel, it was mostly just a little hobby to pass the time while I queried for my first manuscript, but seeing that it's now passed 17k words I might consider trying to get this one published once it's done.
I'm looking for a chapter-by chapter beta read, to help push this in the right direction and to help give me more incentive to work on it.
The story is called The Alliance, and it follows a few key members of a battleship's crew, as they take part in several battles along the traverse (an uncharted region in between borders). Following an ambush, a betrayal, and stories of ships disappearing in the traverse (including high-level warships), the Syracuse and her crew are dispatched to patrol and protect the borders of human territory.
^That is the basic jist of the story, please understand that I am TERRIBLE at summaries/synopsizes.
