So ... hubby was looking at a Disney book with our kidlets when he noticed the Truly Great Injustice regarding Pluto.

You have Mickey, a walking-on-two-legs, talking mouse, who owns a dog as a pet. Now, one might think that it's a mouse and dog thing. But then you have Goofy, a walking-on-two-legs, talking dog.

So why is poor Pluto condemned to a life of barking and walking on all fours?

What other Great Injustices of the World get to you?

I was talking this with a friend the other day. We reached to the conclusion that Mickey lives in a world where people with black skin (like Mickey, Pegleg Pete, Goofy, etc.) ruled and the rest, except the fowl, was considered second class citizens.

The other theory we came up? Pluto is a sex slave. He's really a bipedal talking dog, just like Goofy, but has the twisted fantasy he's a household pet, eating from a bowl and going out to do his needs outside and having Mickey Mouse as his master and Dom.

That's just twisted.

Perhaps Pluto was standing further away from the toxic waste that mutated all the rest of them into bi-pedal talkies.
