YA Novel Published! Summer on Fire Release Date: July 2011

I think everybody already knows about my publishing contract...but in case you missed it, my YA novel Summer on Fire was picked up about a month ago by MuseItUp Publishing.

For the next several months I will be going through the editing process with MIU...looking forward to this! And I am eagerly anticipating my cover, as well. Can't wait to see what they come up with.

The experience thus far has been tremendous. They are working extremely hard preparing for their launch in October, 2010. (Yes...they are a new publisher, but I'm confident it's going to be a great experience. They are on top of every little detail as they set to launch. I've been so impressed by the behind the scenes bustle.)

So, yeah...my first novel will be out in July 2011 as an ebook, with possible print version in 2012.

Well done. Hard work and perseverance win! Let me know how things go with this publisher. Maybe I'll send along my YA when I (eventually) get the rejection for the full I have out at a Sask publisher.
