I realize some of the people on here have published. But, is anyone on here has had a major successful work (e.g., NYT bestseller, major motion picture, etc)?

Yes, there are people here with NYT bestsellers, six-figure deals, etc.

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?
And you would be surprised if you knew you was on this forum.
If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. Good luck.

Oh for crying out loud -- yes.

Is that what writing is about for you?

Good luck with that kid.

Honest questions, but would the writing of those who aren't NYT bestsellers, etc be somehow invalidated because of that? Would their advice be somehow invalidated because they're not NYT bestsellers? Or were you just purely curious?

I am wont to agree with the latter sentiment. I have no opinion on your pwnage of Celtic Lit, since I am dreadfully ignorant on that point. :D

Buckle your seatbelts, folks, we're porting over to Roundtable.

I hesitate to egg you on and offend your delicate sensibilities, or, worst of all, shell-shock you by posting something fowl.

I'm really a Bratislavan writers convent that have cornered the market on eastern european steampunk erotic gothics. Them russians are paying top dollars for rust cathedral porn.

Some AWers have so many books in their signatures that the internet crashes when they post.

I, for one, would very much like to know the answers to these questions, too.

Decided to cut a broad swath with your first handful of posts, did you?

Thanks for reminding me to post this link again. holden, I do hope you have read it. Lots of good stuff in there for folks new to these boards.

As for your question, yes. Lots of successful authors post here -- some anonymously, some not. We've got quite the range of experience here, actually.

I have, like, the only citation anyone ever uses on Celtic infixed pronouns compared to Hebrew and Berber.

It's thrilling. It even has a diagram. For, like, practicing safe linguistics.
