750 Words Clears Your Mind, Gets Ideas Flowing
In his web-site-turned-book Things I Have Learned in My Life So Far, Stefan Sagmeister says keeping a diary supports personal development. I couldn't agree more. Writing's a form of thinking, and journaling is a great way to think through personal issues.

Except that part of the point of morning pages is writing in longhand. Writing with pen and paper does different things to your brain than typing.

If you just want to keep a journal type thing, though, and have that analysis (again, part of the point of morning pages is to clear the clutter--you're not supposed to analyze them or even read them after you've written), but if you just want to do it for fun, then go ahead.

And stats--yeah, I love stats, even if they don't mean anything. :D
