I seem to do this every once in a while in the writing world.
My brain starts going faster than my mouth and my word choices end up not getting my real point across, then I wind up looking like someone who doesn't really know my stuff. I just want to say, "Here, just read my book!" Either that or I don't understand a particular word/phrase (either in general or just a blank brain moment) and they look at me like I've got to be the worst wannabe of them all because I didn't get what they were saying. 
Please tell me I'm not the only one.
