The Kingston Whig-Standard -- my hometown newspaper (and the newspaper I worked at for five years before being laid off nine months ago) -- just published a story about me and the Four Word Film Reviews book.

Give it a read:

The link doesn't do it justice -- it looked beautiful in the newspaper -- it filled about 3/4s of the page and it ran with two big pictures.

I'm thrilled!

Thanks everyone.

The layoff worked out well. I immediately found another job at one of the top universities in Canada. (It's much more stable than working at the newspaper I was at -- they laid off 1/3 of the staff over nine months.)

Nice article! Plus I love the name of the newspaper. CGs, also, on landing a better job post-layoff.
