The above is an outstanding electronic dictionary, which in addition to containing 15 bilingual dictionaries and English, Spanish, and Italian definition dictionaries, also allows you to search for entire phrases, and is an especially good place to go if you've encountered a region-specific word. There are also search-able conjugation tables, as well as resources for Asian languages.
And if it doesn't have what you're looking for, it is attached to a forum populated by professional translators, language professors, and linguaphiles (best of the three, right? )
