Ok I was thinking of a way to help people improve on showing not telling Via exercise.
I think a game would help. Basically the game would go like this:
Person A writes the word "sandwich"
Person B writes: Ham and cheese packed within two slices of bread.
Person A (or C) corrects errors or gives an "attaboy." Then Gives the next word to be described.
Rules
1. You must answer the person above first, then state the word.
2. You must use your imagination.
You can also use phrases or sentences as well. The point is, to try and learn how to show and not tell.
I'll start with the word:
Beer.
