Specifically chemical, physical and material properties of elements, and how elements rank against one another in those regards.

I've investigated both of the sites you suggested before coming here, neither gives me the information I need.
Wikipedia itself depends on searching by individual element to learn things about it, and unless that element is particularly distinguished from all other it usually says little about its properties in relation to others.

Only some aspects of elements are listed according to a specific trait, such as boiling point, melting point, or hardness.

You may be having difficulty because elements may have different properties within the same state, usually depending on structure.

Allotropes of Carbon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon#Allotropes), for example.

You could always go through wiki (and supplemental sources found by targeted searches) and put a table together yourself.

Fine, type "list of elements by [desired property]" into google, and wikipedia has a chart for it.
