Here I am, minding my own business, when suddenly, my books shake and my lamp rattles. EARTHQUAKE! I live in a building in LA that was erected circa 1926, so yeah, I felt that. Anyone else?

The USGS earthquake website is showing that a 5.4 magnitude earthquake just hit a few miles NNW of Borrego Springs, CA, plus there have been several aftershocks. Here's the link for more info: http://quake.usgs.gov/

I'm in Northern CA, so nope, didn't feel it. Here's hoping everyone in the area is all right.

I thought you were going to describe a ghostly chill. I need one of those badly. Over here on the other side of the US, so no.

Wow, that's kinda scary. Glad you're ok.

I was on the bus! In LA! So I didn't feel it. I was a little disappointed.

Reason # 1 why I never wanted to move to California.

Just like Reason # 1 I wanted to move from Florida was Hurricane Andrew.

Here in Georgia, LA means Lower Alabama.

I was driving. If I felt it, I shrugged it off as a bad patch of road.

I felt it. I was at work on the phone. Just shook us up a bit here in Glendale.
