Here's one--only 3.3 million. (http://lovelylisting.com/2010/06/28/heated-by-the-smoldering-good-looks-of-the-residents/) :D

:D

I actually think the house is gorgeous. All of those trees! All of that natural but dim light! Unfortunately, I don't have 3.3 mil in my pocket and if I moved there my daughter would spend the rest of her life standing by the window, looking for Edward.

I just want some of that teak furniture, and maybe the rug in that first pic.

And also I'll need to find out who finished the floors. I need to have my hardwood sanded and varnished.

Man, that sounds dirty.

What were we talking about again ... ?

I don't get it. A fictional character owns a home?

I think our entire home could fit in that first room.

I think that house is wonderful.

Is there a meadow near to it where one could play vampire baseball, completely with delicately pointed toes?

I'm in love with the walls of windows and the trees. Not so much the modernism though.

Location! Location! Location! Where is it? That would be an important deciding factor.

Um, our dear SF obviously hasn't seen *the* movies. Which is a point in his favour, IMO. This is indeed the house used in the filming of the infamous sparkly vampire movies.

Not in Forks, WA. It's in BC.

Hence the drool. And why I'm coming up with wild plans that we could afford it....

Never seen the infamous movies, but I *love* that house. The windows, the green...I even like the furniture.

If it's a "green" house, I may have to curl up and die of envy. :D

That is actually a huge plus. Forks is a hole.

I'll take it as is, modernism and all. I like those straight clean lines. Yessum.

I love the extra-high ceilings to accommodate Edward's sparkletacular hair, and indeed, his fivehead.

It does, and it's covered in TwiShite memorabilia shops these days.

I have photos but other AW members took them, so they kinda own copyright.

Well, I prefer the staff to move in sooner than that.

What?

I haven't been there since the pre-sparkly days, but a friend of mine was there last year and said that it's full of touristy shops and people running around dressed like vampires. It used to be a little logging town with a population of about 3,000.

If you didn't like that one becuase of the association with fairies, maybe you'll want a house that was lived in by a real vampire (http://lovelylisting.com/2010/07/19/falling-cement/). :D

Yes, it does (http://navywifeadventures.blogspot.com/2009/08/phil-collins-goes-to-forks.html).

I live just a short drive from Kalama, where all of the high school scenes were shot. (It's also where all of my estranged cousins gradutated from.) Let me know if you ever need a photo of Phil standing in the path of a rogue minivan in the "Forks High School" parking lot.

I think I'd pass on this one. I like the trees in the first one better. ;)

There's a swamp on one side of it, some moors down the road, and a golf course across the street.

Nope, no good. I still like my house best. (http://www.twitpic.com/mm7vj)

But if anyone wants to offer me 3m for it I might be persuaded to move out.
