My very first writing goal has been accomplished!

Now I'm not normally the type of person to make New Years Resolutions, but this year I made a goal of completing the first draft of my very first wip by mid July. I was very doubtful that I would make the goal because this has been by far the worst/hardest year of my 22 years of life. This year as seriously been one for the record books.

Several months ago I joined this site looking for advice from fellow writers. Today I have officially finished the first draft of my first novel using the advice from this site and it's not even July yet!

I honestly could not have done it without the loads of information that resides in the minds of you crazy awesome people

Now I am off to edit the shit out of it

Thanks everyone! I don't think I've felt this proud of myself in a while! I never thought the day would come when I would actually complete a wip. I decided to take the past few days away from writing to relish in the joy! I'm going to start editing this weekend. I'm sure what to expect though...[runs off to put the search feature to good use]
