Hey guys,

I did a search and was surprised there wasn't a thread dedicated to favorite youtube clips (maybe there was a long time ago?) There are so many great ones out there. I love great commercials, funny spoofs, and parodies. Thought I'd share some of my favorites. Would love if you could share any of you faves.

The clips I really enjoy looking for in YouTube are classic or funny TV ads or commercials. I so enjoy it that I sometimes forget how much time I had already spent watching the videos.

I love this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRKJe_INVBU
It's a Norwegian stand-up duo (brothers actually) and the clip contains some bad language (lot of swearing), so be warned. In Norway (who by some is called Little America) we watch a lot of American movies and tv-series. The language sometime mystify us. The usage of words like; shit, you know what I'm saying?, you know and so on.

Here's a thread of videos featuring some musical instruments and musicians ...
http://fiftyninety.fawmers.org/content/i-think-i-finally-found-my-drummer

There's this music video - two girls and dad - dad actually sang on the recording, AND some NaNoWriMo'ers just might recognize his name. I recall he did a NaNoWriMo streaming radio show last year, and our (Atlanta) ML called in.

Ah, yes. Youtube :) How I love thee. I can spend hours on youtube when I only intended to watch one clip. But one leads to another and so on and so forth. I love lots of clips. Funny ones mostly. And I'm probably the only person in the world....who loves getting Rick Roll'd. As soon as I click on a link and Rick Roll'd pops up with that cheesy music, I light up and sing and dance along. I know, I know. I'm nuts, haha. Everyone else in the world gets all upset. But I love it :)

This is an Italian nonsense song from the 70's (??). It's supposed to be what an american pop song sounds like to a non-English speaking audience. I used to watch this multiple times a day, it is addictive. The dancing is great and seriously, the song...it kills.

Give Me Back My Man - B52's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-qpGKi2Bsc
An amazing video. Made me fall in love with Cindy Wilson. Favourite song by my favourite band.

Made me fall in love with Sam Rockwell. Seriously. That man can dance.

Creepy Lic Sync to 'I Will Always Love You': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ri5-uR8-3AE
It's bizarre, but mesmerizing.

"You're like a big bear man": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODjE-_OB3JI
Made me fall in love with Vince Vaughn (srs). If you haven't seen Swingers, just...do it.

Mitch Hedberg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-zFQ9fOTSU
Everything Mitch Hedberg is good. My favourite has been taken down, which is sad, but he's just always spot on (RIP :( ) p.s I love Mitch Hedberg too.

EDIT: Oh and this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgOyTNtsWyY is probably the sweetest thing ever. First time I saw it I teared up a little bit. Actually, scratch that, every time I see it I tear up a little bit :LilLove:

I've gotten hooked on the literal interpretations of music videos. The literal version of Total Eclipse Of The Heart has to be the one that started this genre, it's had over 10,000,00 views! They guy that does them, David A. Scott, has alot of really funny ones on his channel, like Sunglasses At Night, Meatloaf's "Anything For Love", just go to his page and look for "literal". Here's the link for the literal version of Total Eclipse of the Heart: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj-x9ygQEGA
