A short trailer premiered at the MTV Movie Awards last night.

Here's a link.

Even though it's less than a minute, I have faith Part I is going to cut where I think it should. Other than that, I reserve judgment.

Thanks! Dude, it looks awesome! And I'm so glad Hedwig's theme is back. Didn't hear much of it in the last one. ;)

trailer looked alright. it's hard for me to really get excited, because i haven't seen a good one since the The Prisoner of Azkaban (4,5, and 6 have all been very 'meh' for me.). I thought it all started off very promising, but it's been generally lackluster, with lots of filler and poor direction.

Yikes. Aren't they only supposed to be in their late thirties in the epilogue? What's up with Draco's hairline??

I know, right? He and Ron look like they're fifty, and Harry and Hermione look late twenties.

"Draco Malfoy and the Rogaine Train."

As for the movie, I don't know if I'll bother-I haven't seen any of them since "GOF" and I wasn't thrilled with that one...

Then you missed out of David Yates' stunning direction. The cinematography in The Half Blood Prince is truly beautiful. The fifth movie was fine, but you could tell in the sixth that Yates, knowing he was on board till the end, was taking real ownership of the series.

You're probably right Toothpaste-for me the problem with GOF was the liberties they took with the story (which is to be expected, since they have to condense a lot of material).
