So what quotes have you come across that have encouraged you to keep going? They can be something you read, or even something someone said. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-gen017.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php)

I'll start. I broke the "rule" and glanced and my last WIP...I could see some small things just at a glance. I read this quote in a craft book and it picked me up:

"Anyone who is satisfied with first-draft writing is either extraordinarily talented or has low standards." - Arnold Melnick

"I think writing...is a matter of agreeing that you have these two people inside: everyday you set aside time to be with the subtle person who has funny little ideas."
-Robert Bly

Oh gosh. I'm about to expose my sappy and cheesy underbelly so bear with me. This isn't actually a writing related one, but it's one that always makes me smile and encourages me no matter how I'm feeling:

"Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footsteps on the moon."
