(explanation - in the 16th century a monkey washed up on the coast, and the police took it in. after several days of intense interrogation, he still wouldn't give them one word. after a week they decided to teach him a lesson and took him out to the crowd and hung him. they believed he was a french spy. today the football club has a monkey for a macot called H. Ang. Hartlepool - the only place Darwin can't explain)
