Well, I guess it's about time. The Catholic religion has been prejudice against women for 2000 years. I doubt this is going to be a trend as most Catholics probably would not agree with this

She was ordained an Anglican priest, not a Catholic priest. As a lifelong Catholic, I have never heard of the "old Catholic breakaway" church.
It's not really anything new - not for Anglicans - and it really doesn't have anything to do with the official Church of Rome.

Exactly, I don't see what is the whole fuzz about it. The only thing I have heard resembling to this "old Catholic breakaway" are the Sedevacantists and they are far more conservative... I think Mel Gibson is one, but I am not sure.

No, that's part of the ordination process....even in the Roman Catholic Church which this is not.
