Not to suggest that games are forms of education or anything of the like.
But the idea that he feels qualified to speak on a subject which he admits he know next to nothing about seems somewhat hypocritical to me. It besmirches the very education he praises. It's like standing up in class and $^!!$#!%%ing on a topic you know nothing about.
Besides, what exactly is the problem with having entertainment and distractions?
