...that I do not think that all adverbs are evil. At the risk of getting banned forever, I am willing to go as far as to say that sometimes I like a well placed adverb.

What's wrong with adverbs? It's not the adverb that is to blame, but the user.

Creepy and wrong.
I staunchly refuse to callously abandon my adverbs. They're a perfectly functional part of speech.

You know what else I like? Fragments. Pure, simple, direct fragments.

Suddenly, I surprisingly feel as though I might absolutely agree with kaylea!

However, if I really think more slowly and carefully, semilarge is also probably right.

Hopefully, people will quickly see that there is probably a middle ground, and not angrily disagree. Because, if we holler too loudly and wildly, we would sadly attract the attention of a mod who might forcefully lock the thread.

Refreshingly. Purged. ;)

So an adverb and a porcupine walked into a bar...

*lovingly passes Lavern a box of crayons...and paper...and scissors. Wait. No scissors. Cautiously reaches in to retrieve scissors and sneakily replace them with a cork*
