Hey guys...

While writing Erotica...you know, actual stories with plots and characters, I find myself filled to the brim with good ol' fashioned porn. I remember years and years ago, Penthouse Letters was a huge market. Does anybody know if they still exist? If so, where to submit?

I've checked in Writers Market and Penthouse isn't even listed (guess they're just doing pictorials now...).

Thanks in advance for your help!

They are now called Penthouse Variations and the pay is pretty good - This part is taken out of context from an email exchange with them: Penthouse Variations publishes first-person narratives in the 3,000 to 3,500 word range, containing explicit sex scenes set within a specific category and placed within the context of a realistic plot with well-developed characters... Payment for an accepted, fully revised manuscript is up to $400.00.

My first ever erotica sale was to PHL back at the dawn of time. I was such an innocent that I thought I'd somehow tricked the editor - I mean, it wasn't a real experience! I made it up!

Well, the one about the two broke college girls with an overheating car, the mechanic, and the garden hose wasn't real, anyway.

The mechanic was technically real, but he was hung more like a hummingbird than a moose.
