Did anyone else see that Sodastream ad at the top of the page?

Has anyone tried this? I want one. But I'm prone to impulse purchases...
really, I just need someone to talk me out of it. Fast.

Unless you've tried it and it's really cool. Then tell me more because I really want that soda thing....

:) (<-if you don't want to see the ad, don't click on this smiley)

I bet that would be fun making your own rootbeer

But what about the dry ice? You can't make rootbeer without dry ice and a big black caldron. That is blasphemy, pure and simple.

I have changed my mind. Don't buy it. It's a devil product.

I changed my mind again. Buy it! Then buy me one too! But don't make rootbeer with it because that would just be wrong on so many levels.

You're pregnant. Pull out that plastic and blame it on the hormones.

YES! I do!

Just picture it. It's mid June and 127 degrees outside. Your AC is busted and your 13 months pregnant. You're so thirsty that your saliva has turned to dust. You'd go to the store for a soda, but you simply lack the strength. BUT WAIT! You don't need no stinkin' minute mart. You've got a (what's it called again?) nifty countertop soda makin' thingy. You can make it yourself and save that $0.99 you were going to spend on a Big Gulp.

Seriously...that thing would pay itself off in like...ten years.

Oh yeah, then buy me one too!

Wow, I haven't had one of those since I was a kid. They're awesome!

EggCream.jpg

This old-time New York thirst-quencher is sweet and full of fizz. Despite its name, the egg cream contains neither eggs nor cream. In the beginning, it was a soda produced almost exclusively in New York (particularly Brooklyn). the basic ingredients are milk, seltzer, and chocolate syrup. It is traditionally made in a small Coke-style glass.

Remember, you can always pay for gift wrapping and have it delivered to you anonymously.

In the land of AW's... /oz/ get it???
I begged people to talk me out of a Kindle... when it was 359... it went down to 259 shortly thereafter... So, WAIT until it is less expensive before you spend $ on something you are unsure of...

mmmmmm

Italians....
