The grammar and syntax thread just about killed me!

rather than general find I like the visual tools for this. I used "like" and "and" a lot

i know on wordle you can choose a word and remove it. maybe a character's name or "the"... not sure if that works on the other one

I'm a big 'that' overuser as well; I've recently gone on a personal quest to rip out as many as possible.

Not to be too picky, but now you need to search for "alot". It should be two words, not one.

I have a big but problem.

Look is my biggest culprit. I need to rewrite those sentences and cut out most of them, when the time comes.

ugh. I just checked and I used the word 'slightly' 57 times in my WIP.

Don't allot a lot of "alots," as none will do.

I let my computer catch some things, too. But it's a bad habit I'm trying to break. That's the trouble with computers. We let them catch our mistakes, and we start sounding illiterate.
