Starship Troopers has a strong lead, but there's still another day of voting!

I voted for Next, silly as that may seem, because it would be interesting to study mass market Science Fiction. We'd all love to be millionaires. What do those guy do different that worked out for them?

Next, for much the same reason Ed used. Matter appears to be one of a series and very close in concept to Dune. I've already read Lucifer's Hammer, although it was some years ago and while it's excellent SF, it doesn't look as though it's gonna make it here. Starship Troopers is a Heinlein juvenile and while no doubt important because of its author, it is still a YA space opera.

So I vote for Next because I think the science in it might be closer in league with that in Lucifer's Hammer, realism wise, and probably deals with much the same issues that Greg Bear wrote about in Darwin's Radio.
