Salutations! As your new Mod, it’s my pleasure and privilege to return this forum to discussion of actual music. I.e., the great and profound stylings of our greatest decade, the '70s, and it’s most effluent contribution to our culture: Disco.

No longer will you be held hostage to endless yammering about “rock” or “rap” or – Heaven forefend – the “classical” morass that repressed our collective psyche for hundreds of years. Nay, from this day forward, you are freed to express your closeted enjoyment of such rapturous melodies as Rock the Boat and Get Down Tonight.

Let's boogie! http://bestsmileys.com/dancing/2.gif

Does this include modern disco too and not just from the 70's and 80's?

No, no, no! Don't be afraid of the groove. Embrace it! You have gone too long without the beat, and must now shake off your funk and hustle to make up for lost time!

Does this include modern disco too and not just from the 70's and 80's?Yes! Join the revolution! We shall erupt from the underground like a run-away train and spread the fever of love all night!

I've mentioned before. I listen to disco on Pandora while I'm doing tax returns. It keeps my energy levels up. While I don't love all of it, there are quite a few I like a lot.
