This weekend my friend and I debated (demolished) someone's argument that Houston was a cooler city name than Brooklyn.
Brooklyn might be the coolest city name in the world (well, it's a "borough" I guess but screw it, it gets a pass). Possibly the known universe, and I dare say even the unknown universe. It's Brooklyn. It sounds cool and tough and all other manner of positive adjectives. On top of that, it's a part of New York, which runs a very, very close second.
Houston sounds like the last name of a football coach who still runs a wishbone offense. It's not even close.
What say you?
