The link keeps timing out. I have to go right now. Be back later to see if it's working. If you can't get it here then copy and paste it into your browser.

Oh, oh oh, mom's on the nest now! Or is it dad? Do they swap or does dad feed mom constantly? :D

Click on the picture and it'll take you to a site where you can click on an Africam. It's a watering hole where the wild animals come and get a drink. I guess if you get an account you can do live chat while you watch.

I can't wait until the eaglets hatch! I guess there's night vision too!

I'm excited about this!

Between there and there
And we're doing something like this because?

I'm not a member of PETA, but I think this has ethical ramifications.

I don't know. How do you mean?

I think it's a wonderful educational tool. My daughter's class has been keeping up on the progress of the eggs and Momma. She has a better perspective on wild life and more respect for their environment. This is an opportunity of a life time to be able to watch an eagle with her chicks live, not in captivity or on a TV show.

Until the eaglets are born it'll be a little more exciting than watching paint dry. And the sounds in the background are cool.

Pelican Harbor Bald Eagle Nest, Santa Cruz Island, California has lots of bird background noise. Sounds serene, like I'm there. So peaceful. Momma's just looking around. So attentive. I wonder if she sleeps?

Two Harbors Bald Eagle Nest, Santa Catalina Island, California

go to this one the Momma just flew in

gosh, sorry about the size.

Does anyone know who's bigger mom or dad and who's sitting on the nest or do they take turns? There was a really big one that just flew in and fixed the nest a little then flew off.

Female eagles are almost always significantly bigger. Sometimes the male and female can be the same size, or rarely the male a hair bigger (Male at the max end of his size range and female a runt for her size range). So if there's one much bigger, it's mom.
