I don't know what MySpace is

I think it's something my parents used to use while surfing the interwebs on their Tandy and listening to mix tapes on their cassette deck.

It's a social networking membership site, with a UI and HTML out of the deepest regions of hell.

It's similar to Facebook, only stupider. That said, it's used a lot by indie musicians.

But it is unbelievably hideous.

I know this thread is a parody thread of my parody thread but I did recently read that MySpace is about to give itself a major overhaul. Used to be THE social networking site 5 or 6 years ago (after it squeezed "Friendster" and others out of the market), when facebook was just starting up and limited to college kids.

I think they're about to make their last big push to get back on top. One last violent fart before they dissipate into the winds of social history.

Rupert Murdoch owns MySpace. He's trying, rather desperately, to sell it.
