Warmth: a warmhearted feeling

Would you say...

A warmth rushes over me
Warmth rushes over me
A feeling of warmth rushes over me

...?

I have searched the internet and my best guess is the second option. Curious to see what others will think. Thank you to all who reply.

An alternate . . .

I feel a warmth come over me. Or (similar to your second choice): A warm feeling rushes through (or over) me.

Actually, I think a word similar to "envelopes" might work better than "rushes," but that's your choice.

I suppose you're talking style here, so it's your choice.

I'd say "Warmth rushes over me." "Warmth" is less wordy than "a warmth" and less redundant than "a feeling of warmth."

Yes, I see it as style. I'd go with the first one. The second one isn't as precise. Precision is good. The third one is awful. "Feeling" is redundant. Redundancy in a text is only good if you're teaching maths.

Being out of context makes it difficult to have a strong opinion one way or the other. But ,to me the, warmth could be coming from something external, like a hand dryer.I take it you are actually talking about an emotional warmth .So,I'd choose the last one and may be alter the rushes bit.

Whichever one makes you feel warm is the one that you should use.
