I never have anything the right length when these calls come up. At least I'm consistent.

There's time to write something new. 15K is 100% inside your 'write fresh' abilities.

I agree Syn. Plenty of time for you to write. With your talent, it will be a breeze.

Hey, Mrs. Optimism is here too. Thanks Jane. We'll see how well I do finishing up my other two projects. There might be a chance I could do this. An idea would be nice...maybe something will come up. ;)

Perhaps this is stupid, but what's an HEA?

Don't worry about it. And you could have asked us. :) Please do next time?

Thank you.

Well, it does say all--so I assume anywhere from fade to black to make your mother blush. LOL

She kind of did ask us, me at least. :)
When she told me she was thinking of submitting to this job I was surprised and asked why. It was an interesting conversation.

LOL. No doubt it was, but it could be a sweet romance too. It doesn't have to be all-out clothes ripping action all the time. :D

the conversation went along the lines of.
"oh my god, I couldn't write that type."
"might be kind of interesting, mom"

just glad he couldn't see my face.
the thoughts were I am a grandmother of 3 and mother of 2 I definetly couldn't use my own name.
Oh well much more fun to act them out even if only in my imagination than writing them.

I might try one someday just for the fun of it and for a new style of story.
I guess even grandmas like adventures.

No doubt, since I have 2 grandchildren and 3 grown kids of my own. :D And yeah, I'm looking for a pen-name. Definitely won't be using my real one.

I just found out someone is using the same last name I'd picked out so....back to the drawing board.

My pen name is Maryn Bittner. My real name is not. I don't have grandchildren--yet--but I'm certainly of an age where I could.

Nobody needs to know what you write, you know.

Maryn, who guards her real name pretty closely

I have to guard mine closely too. It's pretty darned unusual and I show up on google, believe it or not, from registering hogs all those years ago. Who knew? We didn't even have a computer back then. ;)

Just for a goof, I put my first name and my home town in a search. Voila, now you know my maiden name. Good old high school alumni information. Sheez.
