Every now and then, you come across a web page that's just plain bizarre.

Here is the thread to share them.

I present this one to start:

The AW Water Cooler has been quiet of late, so sometimes when I need to take a break from my WIP, I surf the internet for look-alike V Bulletin boards in search of interesting posts to read. This is one of my favorites . . .

I actually watched it long enough to see the lil white things die and then the man cry and they all come back to life. Still shaking my head....that's a good one Jenna. Definitely quite bizarre!

THE BAR-NONE, MOST ELDRITCH WEB-SITE IN THE HISTORY OF MODERN DEPRAVITY (WHICH WAS INAUGURATED UPON MY BIRTH):

Someone, somewhere, had waaaaaaaay too much time on his hands ...

(having said that, however, I should add that I do like the site!)

www.predatorpee.com (http://www.predatorpee.com)

How the HECK do they collect that stuff?
I mean -- how do you get a bobcatt to pee into a bottle? (let alone a wolf!)
Too weird ... but, then again, quite a testament to the power of capitalism, no?
Anything, and I mean ANYTHING, is for sale!

Okaaay.I couldn't get Jenna's site to load, but I'll keep trying.

Viking Kittens. Thanks. Now I know the words to the Immigrant Song. I never could understand what they were actually saying.

Onto the rest. megookmal, oy vey!

I must have worked with some pretty strange individuals, because all of these (including the Viking Kittens above) were suggested by a friend of mine where I used to work:

http://www.badgerbadgerbadger.com/

http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/weeee.php
(This one is subtitled "Gonads and Strife", and has some foul language and depictions of, well, gonads...so use your discretion...)

http://www.churchofthegrey.com/atst/index.htm
(This one has depictions of Scout Walkers from Star Wars in a Kama Sutra kinda layout - there are frank descriptions of sexual positions...beware!)

Again, I say, I did NOT find these on my own...someone pointed me in their direction. No accounting for taste, but good for a few laughs.

...they have fictional stories on the site answering your question. Has anyone ever visited the practical jokes hall of fame?

WV: It is totally your fault that I cannot get the "Gonads and Strife" song out of my head.

Of course, yesterday I had the Llamas song in my head, which was probably worse.

For inspired lunacy, I like ze's page (http://www.zefrank.com/)

For another "who did this and why?", this one (http://www.izpitera.ru/lj/tetka.swf) is out there.

Now, this is a thread I can use!

The other day when the Llama Song link was posted, I tried for fourty-five minutes (I really wanted to see the Llama Song) but alas, could not get it to load. *sigh* The pitfalls of dialup.

I just gotta know - what in the name of all that's good and holy were you searching for when you found this, or did someone else point you in the direction of this poor woman?

I would *love* to know what sort of search query would result in finding that website. But, alas, I was alerted to it by a friend. (Which is worse: writing stuff like that, or searching for it?

He told me that clicking her will make her move, but I hadn't seen that it did much. Back to the research!

If you grab her by the ankles you can fling her around from side to side like a cat does before it eats a mouse.

Why are y'all looking at me like that?

Anybody have any more Numa Numa sites?

One of my guilty pleasures is Something Awful (http://somethingawful.com/). (Particularly the "Horrors of Porn" feature, which I'm not linking to because I'm on a school computer.) Whenever I doubt myself, I can always be reassured that there are people out there stupider, more depraved, and with worse fashion sense than myself.

Now that's a thing of beauty.

I think we might. Were any of your friends in AW Idol? :)

This is a bit spooky - somebody on another thread (metal band names or summat), out of the blue, named my best friend's three favorite bands: Feelies, Smithereens, and Yo La Tengo. What are the odds?

Oh, and for anyone who hasn't seen it from the thread, please do look at strindbergandhelium.com (http://www.strindbergandhelium.com/). It's brilliant.

OMG.. the lady with the bubbles was hysterical! My two year old and I had a ball with that. I was laughing so hard tears shot out of my eyes.

That's a keeper.
