The most laid back, centered and focused dog I ever saw. No dog be given a greater compliment than this, "He was a good dog."

So sad. He had such a cool vibe. I loved seein' that dog, esp when another dog would be freaking out right in his face and he looked at them like he felt sorry for them.

Same here. He was such a dignified dog. Enjoy playing in the meadows by the Rainbow Bridge, kiddo. What a good boy.

Dignified is a great way to describe him. I predict Junior will come into his own and take up where Daddy left off. He'll be the next ambassador and 'dog whisperer'. :)

For Daddy (and all the other dogs): http://www.novareinna.com/bridge/norse.html

And I've gotta quote Lord Byron:
Near this spot
Are deposited the Remains of one
Who possessed Beauty without Vanity,
Strength without Insolence,
Courage without Ferocity,
And all the Virtues of Man without his Vices.
This Praise, which would be unmeaning Flattery
If inscribed over human ashes,
Is but a just tribute to the Memory of
BOATSWAIN, a DOG

Aww, I don't think I can even read the article.

Definitely an awesome dog.

lost among the words
Just saw this in Rowan's sigline today.

Whoa.

Somehow the old adage of "He had a full, happy life" seems appropriate and, yet, not enough.

What a soul that dog possessed.

I hope he is were ever dogs go and I know he will be waiting for Ceaser on the other side-
