FYI, here's a recent survey of Kindle readers, following the Macmillan-Amazon pricing debacle. May be of interest to any of you who are wondering about what to charge for your e-books, or what the largest portion of e-book buyers think (to date, i.e., before iPad stakes out its share of the market).

The bottom line:
Publishers and authors may be trying to convince each other that they are at war with Amazon, but they have been acting like they were at war with their own readers. Readers won't stand for it, and Amazon is likely to do plenty to empower us by giving us more choices at better prices.

Can you post the rest of the article? Frankly, that paragraph is incredibly skewed, the way I understand it, and I'd like to have a clearer picture.

Well, of COURSE, Kindle readers are going to view publishers as the Big Bad Wolf in this scenario, what, with all the posturing the author did against the windmills emerging on the horizon. Jeez. It's called competition, folks, and it's only going to get tighter.
