And it looks pretty fabulous...I'm interested to see how the bright lights of Vegas pan out here. Obviously there's not a shortage of electricity.

I like Bethesda games just fine.

But they really need more voice talent and better animators.

It's not a Bethesda game, which is why I actually have some hope for New Vegas. Bethesda is the publisher, but it's being developed by the folks at Obsidian.

I really liked Fallout 3, except for the ending and the omnipresent brown color.

Kinda sorta but not really. IIRC, Black Isle Studios was responsible for Fallout 1/2 but I think they went under a while ago. Obsidian does employ a bunch of former Black Isle peeps though.

It's heartening that Obsidian is taking the reins. The current crew at Obsidian is similar to the one responsible for Fallout 2, not Fallout 1.
