I have been trying to find some good Writers Conferences in UK. The only one that I keep finding is Winchester Writers Conference.

Does anyone have any experience of it?

How about other conferences in UK? Is there a listing somewhere?

AW member Shara has been to it.
What genre are you writing?

There's this one

What do you want to get out of a conference?

Thanks Waylander. To be honest, I am not completely sure. Meet other writers, attend some workshop, get some networking experience. Because this will be my first conference, I want to see what I can learn and what I would most find useful.

Once/If I manage to get a list of UK conferences, then I will research them and see which one seems most useful.

There will be a writers workshop at Odyssey and there will be several AW people there

More AW people? Well if that's not the reason, I don't know what is. :-)

Ok, so now I have three options - FantasyCon, Odyssey and Winchester. I shall carefully consider all three, and see which ones seems more useful for this time (though really, if I had money, I would rather do all three).

Might pester you with more questions later. But thanks for helping.
