Do you read in the bath? If so, how do you keep the book from getting wet?:tongue

They actually make book holders for the bathtub too. I've never used one. I just keep my hands out of the water until I'm finished reading.

I did when I was younger, but now I rarely take baths--I'm a showerer--and when I do, it's about candles, bubbles or oils, and calming music, not reading. I can do that anywhere.

When I did read in the tub, I made a rule: No hardcovers, and no library books. I also kept a towel at hand, to dry damp fingertips before touching the book.

Maryn, whose tub is usually too scuzzy for enjoyment

Yes.

How do I keep it from getting wet? I don't drop it.

I only get the book wet when I drop it after I fall asleep. Something about baths just equals night-night to me. LOL

Now picturing Lucid on the crapper, wearing a smoking jacket, with a glass of wine in one hand and a ham sandwich in the other. Not....good.

Hot bath + good book = happy redhead

Kayleamay summed it up pretty good.

Toss in a few lit candles, some chocolate or apples and cheese with a nice glass of wine = a little slice of heaven for this redhead.

I keep a dry towel or washcloth next to the tub to dry damp fingers before turning pages.

* Get into bath.
* Wash
* Dry hands
* Retrieve book
* Read book
* Get kinda sleepy
* Begin to slump
* Panic
* Throw book to the side
* Cry out as it lands in the toilet
* BATH IS RUINED!!!

I read in the bath every time I take one. My books get wet, dropped, whatever. I don't do anything special to prevent it other than be REALLY careful. :p
