Before I go any further, the story I'd need a beta for would be a large WIP with over 100,000 words already. It is centered around theological ideas, mostly Christian and Catholic, but is in no way meant to be a religious text. Think 'Good Omens' by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, or 'American Gods'. If that's offensive to you, then this isn't your cup of tea.

I'm not looking for you to beta the whole thing, though it would be ideal. Just someone to look over at least the first few chapters and pick out my character inconsistencies (as best you could), plot holes, and other general tweaks for the overall feel of it. Grammar would be nice, but isn't necessary.

The story is a fiction, theological/urban fantasy, with subplots of romance, drama, action, and all that other good stuff. I'd want a pretty in-depth critique, and I'm willing to take a lot of criticism.

I'd be willing to work however way you're comfortable with (AIM, e-mail, forum PM, ect). Drop me a line and let me know.

Thanks!

((And here's a chunk of the first chapter right here.))
