Yeah, I don't know why that prefix was created in the first place. When you consider just how many planets and moons there may be in the galaxy, adding exo- to the front of each one seems like a waste of space.

It's be cause we think we're the center of the universe and everything is relative to us. If you're not Earth or Earth's moon you're an "exo-" :tongue

Pretty cool article, it gives me hope that we might be living in a Star Wars universe after all - and that I can totally get my hands on a lightsaber.

It depends on the distance of the planet from its moon, size of the moon, and orbits. It is definately possible for life to exist on a moon, just not in most cases.
