answered an email, looked up nesting habits of mourning doves for my husband, started the wash, loaded the dishwasher, and stuck some bbq chicken thighs in the oven

Just found out my very opinionated sister in law is coming over this evening (who disagrees with us about EVERYTHING under the sun....and loves to "discuss")

I'm too old to take shit offa people anymore. I work in customer service (on the phone, and with plumber/engineer types) I used to get so bent out of shape, crying and everything when I suffered abuse at their hands - I really couldn't care less anymore.

uh, yeah, your thing you waited 8 months for was broken in shipment. I'm terribly sorry. No, it's still going to take 8 months to replace it.

I'm pleasant, but I no longer truly care.

My goal is to make THEM cry one of these days.
