Well, we rang in 2007 with my oldest having a stomach bug, and that was a pretty good year. Since we did the same for 2010, I'm hoping it will be good, too.

Having a horrible hangover. Though since it is such a bad hangover, I am guessing last night was fun. Don't really remember to much of it. WWwooooooo...I need to lay down.
i'm wondering way everytime i revise this stupid chapter, another word jumps out to be changed, i'll end up polishing away to nothing, lol, i can see it coming
Eating Boston Butt slow-cooked overnight with potatoes, mushrooms, onions and carrots. I rubbed it in fresh herbs: Sage and Rosemary and added salt, pepper and garlic cloves. Eating it over rice. Lordy, Lordy, that is some good eatin'!
it's noon here, just woke up. still lying in bed with no intention of getting out of it anytime soon.

Multitasking: Texting, watching TV, writing thank you notes to my relatives, editing, and talking to peeps on this site.
There's plenty to go around. I also just finished icing a home-made carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Lots of cinnamony sweetness.
When most of the Boston Butt is gone, I take the juices/gravy from the slow cooker, the vegetables and shred the rest of the meat and cook rice in it. Yummy.
Smelling the pork roast in the slow cooker and feeling slightly off-kilter because I didn't get anywhere *near* enough sleep last night and I think it's catching up with me.
