Would anyone like to word war? I know there is an existing thread for word wars during NaNoWriMo, but I thought it might be nice to have one for any time, any day.
If you'd like someone to word war with, post here and say when you'd like to start and how long you'd like to go for, and anyone who is around and would like to join you can respond. Final counts and encouragement posts are welcome.
If anyone is around, I'd like to war at half past, for an hour!

What is a word war?
A word war is when two or more people decide to work on their own individual stories at the same time as each other. They choose a length of time to write for, or a word count target that they hope to reach, and then write until time is up or they've got their words. Then they post their word count for the session here, and arrange to go again if they like. It's all about a bit of virtual company when you write, whether you'd just like a little extra motivation to get past a block, or you write better with some competition. There are no losers in a word war, because even if you only write one word, that's one more word than you had before. All are welcome!
