out there
Just came in from the children's writing thread, where there's a list of favorite kids' books going on. Can you remember the first poem you ever loved?

Mine was "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost, which I learned while typing in a poem on our Radio Shack TRS-80 (memory: 4K) which made the screen fill up with dots of "snow" as the text scrolled by.

My other favorite was William Carlos Williams "This is Just to Say," which appeared in my 3rd grade reader. (Whoops, sorry, I ate your plums, but they sure were good!)
