Back in October I submitted a short story for the Great Lakes Ass. of Horror Writers third anthology. The ghost story is titled The Vessel and I found out today that it has been accepted.
Now, after almost a decade of missing my name on a byline (not for a lack of trying to get published just life getting in the way of writing) it is happening again. Exposure plus having something recent to add to the resume paragraph in queries is, okay having a brain fart due to the happiness I am feeling and cannot come up with just one word to describe how amazing this all is.
I think the only person I haven't called to inform is my florist. hehe. Truthfully I just called family. But that is a lot of people to call in one night. I've got a HUGE family.
