What Do You Mean Identify!

I still have some of those. Some of them even work. Sheesh. Throw away a perfectly good record player.....

where on earth did you find a picture of that little yellow 45 to 33 record-adjuster-thingy??
funny tho to see them,..i've recently had horribly clear flashback rememberances of the flip-sides of old 45's! heck, i can even "see" some of the labels.
Terry Jacks Seasons in the Sun- flip side, Put the Bone In
Paul McCartney Let it Be (or was it Hey Jude?..well it's the flip-side i remember anyway) - flip side, We're so Sorry, Uncle Arthur..Apple label

now if i just had a needle for my phonograph..and one of those yellow thingies....

Mr. Maryn had a birthday recently, and his kids gave him a great present--they dug out his 45s, listed them all in a spreadsheet (sortable), and gave him a nice certificate to transfer as many as he wanted to CD.

See, when we bought a turntable a few years ago, it never occurred to us that it might not even offer 45 RPM as a setting...

I recognise most of them, but I'm only 29 so it's more down to poverty.

I have a vacuum thing just like that. My nanna gave it to me and it still works.

My neighbour's brand new Dyson started to smoke the other day, proof that they don't make thing like they used to.

And who didn't love to play with flash bulbs when they were a kid?!
There were always a couple of flash bulbs at the back of a drawer waiting to be messed about with. We didn't need any of that Playstation nonsense....

Well, Charlie, I got a 15 so I'm not allowed to tell my age. Fine by me. :)

24. I never saw a Packard on the road.

I already told everyone I'm the same age as Disneyland.

Thanks a LOT!

Just as soon as I put my teeth in, and put my support hose on, I'm going to hop in my Packard and drive to my lawyer's office and have him write my will!

Cool - get to keep my age a secret.... A few of these would've been in Grandma's house (my parent's oooold toys and games were always more fun; who was Uncle Wiggily anyway?).

Has anyone ever had sideburns like Captain Kangaroo? And whatever happened to Mr Green Jeans?

Okay, I'm starting to hear "Cat's in the Cradle" -- time to snap out of it....

Thanks, Joe and Chuck!

I only got three out of nine -- I recognized Capt. Kangaroo, the yellow plasticky thing that goes in a 45, and the polaroid camera. I figured out what the flashcube was because I read the writing on the top, but I've never actually seen one.

The little blue and silver robot with the hose looks like a vaguely obscene R2-D2.
