Does anyone know if there are greeting card companies other than Blue Mountain Arts who accept freelance submissions?
Hallmark is a no. I don't know the names of any other greeting card companies to check their websites.
I'd appreciate the help if anyone has any info.
Thanks!!
Stacey

Stacey,

Jenna's e-book "Sell The Fun Stuff" is an excellent resource for information on greeting card markets - both for writers and illustrators.

I sold to Kate Harper too, Aesposito. That's cool you did too. Only trouble is they're only taking kids' quotes from now on. Wish that weren't true.

Excellent resource and lists! Thank you all so much.
What I am currently doing is going through the lists (that accept freelance Artist and Writers submissions) on the UK Greeting Card Association website. It is proving rather helpful at the moment, as I am finding an array of publishers and that includes self employed business's printing only for a specific niche.
I'm liking the Recycled Paper Greetings that Dianna mentions.

Oct. 2,2010, Hello, I go by D'racae'ly here on Absolute Write and I have been reading through some of what is posted here on this particular page. I think I might be able to add a card company that accepts poetry writers. It is called PassionUp. They are an online greeting card company. I did some work for them, and it helped pay to get my fourth book published. I'm somewhat of a new life traveler here, so if anyone could give me tips from time to time, I would appreciate it.

and here is a little something i made some time back as a gift from me to all of you....

Just wanted to mention that I have written to this company TWICE to ask about sending them some writing and they did not respond to me either time.

Very disappointed.
