are really really bad. They stink on ice!

All my life, I'd never had to deal with one, yet in the same week, my son and I both ended up in the ER for tick removal and antibiotics.

At least, with my trip to the ER, there was no screaming. UGH!

Yet, I remember the unofficial chant that I concocted for my graduating class, which never caught on: "Nits, fleas, lice and ticks! We're the Class of '86!"

Whenever I've had a nice meal at a restaurant...on my way out, when the manager or hostess asks how things were and if I enjoyed the meal...my standard response: "I'm full as a tick!"

Had a house-wide infestation once, care of outdoor doggie. Years ago, this was. Woke up one day and they were crawling on the wall...feeding on my eyelids (yes, literally). Seemed to happen overnight. Crazy shyte. Had to have the house bombed and the doggie exorcized.

:D

...you went to the ER for ticks...?

Whenever I find a tick, I rip it off, and then alternatively smash it under a hammer or radiate it in a microwave. Then I get on with life.
Just saying.
