Aloha all-
Heaving a huge sigh of relief/satisfaction/exhaustion...
My next manuscript, that has taken three years, is now passed from my agent to my publisher who has an option on it...

Keep in mind they can decide to take it...refuse it...do with it what they want...
Every point in this business is fraught with rejection.
I know my project was ambitious and my vision was difficult technically...
We will see if I have succeeded.
Thank you for being there for me - all of you!!!

Oh, that's wonderful! I remember when The Lottery first got the attention of your agent. You've worked so hard for this! Fingers crossed the publisher loves this one, too.

WOW! Congratulations! I think people underestimate the amount of waiting and rejection that occurs even after you've "made" it...my manuscript (sold on proposal) is in the editor's hands right now and I'm practically foaming at the mouth!
