Thanks, Heart! I can't believe it, the book's only on the shelves less then three months! Huge kudos to A&U for the fantastic marketing they've been doing.

Thanks, Emilycross! It's still a great big whirlwind of awesomeness to me - long may that last!

I'm loving dealing with all the different editors in all the different countries. Currently having a ball with my British ed's, they have me doing so many fun things for promo stuff ( like, they have had me write an essay on the Merron ritual and beliefs for the back of the UK/US editions of The Crowded Shadows. I'm going to be writing a little potted history of the Southland's war etc. Loving doing that stuff! )

Am I speaking to a fellow Irishhead then?

Yup Celine, Irish head indeed! I have your book on my shelf, so you can imagine how surreal this is for me :)
Delighted to hear its all going so well, its great for O'Briens press too to have one of their books go international!

Congrats again, (may save up me money for the sequel - love the cover)

Emilycross, wow I'm chuffed you have Poison Throne! ( and dude, surreal doesn't even cut it! I feel like I've spent the last two years on the other side of the mirror)

I really glad you like the OBP cover of book two, those guys are just amazing when it comes to packaging and marketing etc. They've been tremendous to work with. Michael O'Brien has built an amazing team around him, and he is a veritable superman-powerhouse when it comes to getting things done. Seriously, the guy never quits.
